Welcome to Trackside, the official taproom of Buxton Brewery and the beating heart of our indie beer scene. Just a stone’s throw from the brewery itself, this is the place where our beers taste their freshest, poured straight from the source. Whether you’re a lifelong Buxton local or visiting the Peaks for the weekend, Trackside is the place to be.
Outside, you’ll find the biggest beer garden in Buxton; it’s the perfect setting to relax with friends, savour our latest brews, and enjoy the atmosphere that only a true taproom can deliver.
Step inside and discover our brand-new warehouse space, designed to be a hub of entertainment all year round. At its heart is our games lounge, with AR darts, shuffleboard, fussball, American pool, and more, ready for friendly competition. The warehouse also boasts a 5m indoor cinema screen, showing live sports, backed by full Sky Sports and TNT Sports coverage, so you never miss the action. When the lights go down, our live gig space transforms the venue into one of Buxton’s freshest music spots, showcasing everything from local talent to touring acts.
Our newly built bar is the centrepiece of the space, serving the full Buxton Brewery range alongside special releases, collaborations, and a carefully curated selection of guest beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks.
Trackside isn’t just about nights out, either. With flexible conference facilities and private hire options, it’s an ideal venue for corporate events, parties, and community gatherings. Whether you’re here for a quiet pint, a big game, a live gig, or a full-scale celebration, Trackside brings people together.
We serve the freshest Buxton Brewery beer on 14 lines to accompany the juiciest smash burgers, fries and sides – with the meat sourced from the local farm, just 400 yards away, whose herd of Limousin cattle graze just the other side of our dry stone wall.

Save the dates! 7th May, 14th May, 21st May Initial rounds will be played as best of 3 frames. Players will be randomly assigned a time slot and table. Winners progress, while losers get a randomly selected second-chance match to advance. Remaining players compete in the quarter-finals (best of 3 frames, random matchups). Winners move on, losers are eliminated. This continues until 4 players remain. The final 4 will play best of 5 frames to reach the final. Semi-final losers will play for 3rd place, followed by a best of 5 final to decide the winner. Prizes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive the full prize pot (all entry fees) plus a 20% contribution from Trackside. The bars will be open, with free access to the games lounge (Shuffleboard, AR Darts, and American Pool). Live sports will be shown throughout both days.
