Award-winning independent brewery expands retail presence with 80-store Midlands rollout
Buxton Brewery is proud to announce the launch of three of its flagship core range beers into 80 participating Co-op stores across the Midlands, marking another significant milestone in the brewery’s continued growth and increasing popularity across the UK.
The beers joining Co-op shelves are:
- Deepdale – A 4.0% Gluten-Free Session IPA packed with bright hop character and exceptional drinkability.
- Stacked – A 5.2% Gluten-Free West Coast IPA delivering classic citrus, pine and crisp bitterness.
- Featherbed – A 4.7% New England IPA bursting with juicy tropical fruit flavours and a soft, pillowy finish.

Since its founding in 2009, Buxton Brewery has been at the forefront of the UK’s independent brewing movement, helping shape the modern craft beer landscape through innovation, quality and consistency. Over the past 15 years, the brewery has built a reputation for producing award-winning, internationally recognised beers that continue to attract new drinkers while retaining a loyal following across the UK and beyond.
The new Co-op listing represents a natural partnership between two organisations that share a commitment to community, authenticity and long-term value. Co-op’s focus on supporting local communities, operating responsibly and building trusted relationships with customers closely reflects Buxton Brewery’s own values as an independent producer dedicated to quality and genuine consumer connection.

As more consumers seek out brands with authentic stories, trusted reputations and proven quality, independent breweries continue to gain momentum. Buxton Brewery’s growing presence in retailers nationwide reflects this shift, with increasing numbers of drinkers choosing established independent brands that consistently deliver exceptional beer experiences.
The arrival of Deepdale, Stacked and Featherbed in Co-op stores gives shoppers across the Midlands access to three distinctive examples of modern British brewing, each showcasing the quality, innovation and craftsmanship that have defined Buxton Brewery from the very beginning.
As the brewery continues to grow, its commitment remains unchanged: creating exceptional beer while championing the values that have made independent brewing one of the UK’s most exciting success stories
