Buxton Brewery’s freshest pour doesn’t tiptoe onto the scene, it bursts through the door, ready to bring some proper fun to your pint. Smack That, our 5.0% DDH hazy pale, is built around the fascinating hops Krush, from the US and Nectaron from New Zealand; 2 fresh hop varieties from opposite corners of the world combining as two of the most exciting modern hops to work with. They are expressive, vibrant, and absolutely packed with personality, which makes them the perfect backbone for a beer brewers to be juicy, playful, and unmistakably Buxton.

From the moment it hits the glass, Smack That leans into everything we love about contemporary hazy pales. The aroma is a tropical hit: mango body, ripe guava, and a bright, candied orange lift. Our double dry‑hop process amplifies these fruit notes without tipping into sweetness, thanks to a beautifully judged bitterness that snaps everything into balance. It’s soft, hazy, and pillowy on the palate, but with enough bite to keep things refreshing and seriously drinkable.

Krush brings a unique pithy, citrus‑candy edge that sets Smack That apart from the usual hazy suspects. It’s a hop that still feels new, still feels exciting, and still gives us room to explore. This beer is our latest chapter in that exploration: a celebration of modern hop flavour and a nod to experimentation. Here’s your reminder that great beer should always have a sense of fun!

It’s bold. It’s fruity. It’s balanced. And it’s ready for you.
