Last week our MD, Dom Metcalfe, had the pleasure of visiting our largest export market – Sweden. Events with Akkurat bar (where the first ever casks of Buxton beer in Sweden were poured) and Ölkemi ab were incredibly well attended and the feedback was superb! Dom also found time to meet with the buyer of the state owned Systembolaget – one of the largest alcohol buying groups in the world who are responsible for sourcing all of the alcohol that is sold in the off trade. They discussed the recent tender wins Buxton have had and how they can work together in the future to bring more Buxton beer to the Swedish market. Given we have shipped nearly 500,000 cans to the 400 stores within the Systembolaget over the past 3 years, we have a great foundation to build on!
