This is Single Barrel Rain Shadow; our annual release of our straight-up barrel aged imperial stout. For 2020 we developed it into three distinct expressions. This is the Rye variant, aged in American Rye Whiskey barrels in our barrel store for one year.

This beer is from our archive, spanning over a decade of Buxton Brewery history. As such it has passed its ‘best before’ date, but we have taken the time to try each and every beer and feel it is worth the experience to savour the complex development the passage of time has produced.
