Generation 4 of our Brett fermented Imperial Stout. Our yeast strain from 1978 is alive and well and has chewed relentlessly through our regular Russian Imperial Stout to bring you the Great Grandson of the original batch.

This beer is from our archive, spanning over a decade of Buxton Brewery history. As such it has passed its ‘best before’ date, but we have taken the time to try each and every beer and feel it is worth the experience to savour the complex development the passage of time has produced.
